What is The Chicago Car Detailing Company?

We’re a professional mobile car detailing service based in Glenview, IL. Founded and operated by Vincent Milito, every detail is done personally to the highest standards — so your car gets the care it deserves, every single time.

What areas do you serve?

Is the service mobile — do you come to me?

Yes! We come to your home, office, or wherever your vehicle is. No shop drop-off needed — just book an appointment and we’ll handle the rest.

Who will be detailing my car?

Every job is done by Vinny himself. The Chicago Car Detailing Company is 100% owner-operated, so you’re getting the founder’s hands-on attention and quality standards on every detail.

What detailing services do you offer?

We offer a full range of services:

  • Interior Detail — Full interior clean (from $145 for sedans)
  • Interior + Exterior Detail — Complete inside-and-out detail (from $195 for sedans)
  • Mold Removal — Deep clean and treatment (custom pricing)
  • Ceramic Coating — Long-term paint protection (from $475)
  • Paint Correction / Polishing — Scratch and swirl removal (from $400)
  • Wax & Paint Correction — Correction plus premium wax sealant (from $525)

Do prices change based on vehicle size?

Yes. Our base prices are for sedans. SUVs are an additional $20 for detailing packages (or $100 for ceramic coating), and third-row vehicles or trucks are an additional $40 for detailing (or $200 for ceramic coating). Paint correction adds $50 for midsize and $100 for oversized vehicles.

What’s included in the Interior Detail?

  • Carpet and seat shampoo extraction (fabric) or leather cleaning and conditioning
  • Full interior vacuum — carpets, seats, trunk, and floor mats
  • All plastics and vinyl surfaces cleaned and dressed (dashboard, doors, console)
  • Cupholders and storage compartments cleaned
  • Windows and mirrors cleaned streak-free
  • Air vents dusted and wiped
  • Door jambs cleaned
  • Headliner spot cleaned (if needed)
  • Final inspection and touch-ups

What does the Exterior Detail add to the Interior + Exterior package?

On top of everything in the Interior Detail, you also get:

  • Hand wash with pH-neutral soap
  • Bug removal
  • Wheels and tires cleaned and dressed
  • Door jambs wiped down
  • Streak-free glass cleaning
  • Paint-safe towel dry
  • Final walkaround and inspection

Ceramic Coating

What ceramic coating product do you use?

We use Adam’s Advanced Graphene Ceramic Coating — a professional-grade product that delivers unmatched gloss, slickness, and up to 9+ years of durable protection against UV rays, water spots, and contaminants.

What’s the difference between the Essential and All Inclusive ceramic coating packages?

The Essential Package includes one- or two-step paint correction, all paintwork coated, an exterior decontamination wash, and a complimentary interior detail.

The All Inclusive Package adds coating on exterior plastics, wheels, glass, headlights, and taillights for complete bumper-to-bumper protection.

Does ceramic coating include paint correction?

Yes. Both ceramic coating packages include a one- or two-step paint correction to restore your paint’s depth and clarity before the coating is applied, ensuring a flawless finish.

Does ceramic coating come with a free interior detail?

Yes! Every ceramic coating package includes a complimentary interior detail at no extra charge.

How long does ceramic coating take?

Ceramic coating typically has a 1–2 day turnaround, depending on the condition of the vehicle and the package selected.

Paint Correction

What is paint correction?

Paint correction is the process of removing surface imperfections like swirl marks, scratches, and oxidation from your vehicle’s clear coat using professional-grade compounds and polishers. The result is a dramatically improved finish with restored gloss and clarity.

What’s the difference between one-step and two-step paint correction?

One-Step Paint Correction (from $400) is ideal for light to moderate surface imperfections. It combines cleaning, polishing, and sealing in one efficient process using a dual-action polisher.

Two-Step Paint Correction (from $750) is for vehicles needing more intensive care. The first step uses a heavy-cut compound to reduce deeper defects, and the second step refines the surface with a fine polish for near-flawless clarity.

What about the Wax & Paint Correction package?

Our Wax & Paint Correction package (from $525) includes swirl mark and scratch removal followed by a premium wax sealant that protects against UV damage and environmental contaminants. Please note this option may not be available during certain times of the year due to weather conditions.
